Fly to Whitehorse from Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver on Air North – Yukon’s Airline, and pick up a compact car for three days. Spend two nights at the Westmark Whitehorse hotel and one at the Raven Hotel in Haines Junction with it’s award winning restaurant. Explore the area which is home to Kluane National Park and take a ride on the wild side rafting the Tatshenshini river. If you want something a little less challenging you can do a day excursion from Whitehorse paddling the Yukon River, visiting the Yukon Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Springs for a swim before returning to your hotel.
