Booking your vacations with Arrangements Yukon, owned
and operated by Faro Travel Services Ltd. - a member of Transat Distribution Canada, involves an agreement between you and the suppliers who provide
the services for which you have paid. Please read all the information
on this page, along with the information listed with each package,
as it provides the conditions relating to services of both Arrangements
Yukon and the suppliers.
How to Book
Contact your local travel agent or use the booking
form on this web site.
Payment
Must be made by VISA or MASTERCARD. If you make payment
by credit card, Thomas Cook appears as the vendor on your statement.
Use the credit card authorization form which will be sent to you
when you request a booking. This authorization to use your credit
card for payment indicates your compliance with our booking terms
and conditions, whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate
draft.
FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF CONFIRMATION AND IS NONREFUNDABLE.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE PURCHASE OF CANCELLATION INSURANCE.
Cancellation Charges
Payments are forwarded to the service suppliers at the time of
booking and penalties will depend on the services booked. You
will be advised of cancellation charges for the services booked
when your booking is confirmed to you. A $50.00 administration
fee applies to all cancellations on top of any charges by the
suppliers. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE PURCHASE OF CANCELLATION
INSURANCE.
Changes
You will be charged
an amendment fee of $50.00 for each change made, plus any applicable
change fee imposed by the supplier.
Refunds will not be issued for any unused travel
services or portions thereof, nor can the price or value of any
unused travel changes
be exchanged. Tickets and vouchers are non-transferable and valid
only for the dates and services shown. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND
THE PURCHASE OF CANCELLATION INSURANCE.
Documentation
Some of our itineraries enter the United States.
It is your responsibility to obtain, at your expense, all documentation
required by the relevant government authorities if you travel outside
Canada, including those for your return to Canada. Custom and/or
immigration officials can, at their own discretion, deny the traveler
entry into their country. ARRANGEMENTS YUKON cannot be held responsible
for denied entry under any circumstance. It is your responsibility
to provide your travel agent or us with correct names as shown
on your passport or applicable indentification and advise us of
your nationality/citizenship.
Check-in and Check-out Times are
determined by each hotel. Most expect guests to check-in after
3pm and check-out by 12noon to allow for cleaning and servicing
of the rooms. While hotels do their best to minimize inconvenience,
your patience and understanding is requested if your room is
not ready upon your arrival.
Flights and Carriers
All flight times are subject to change with or without notice.
We recommend that you contact the airline within 24 hours of
travel dates to confirm departure time and airport check-in requirements.
Airline, Airport or Weather Delays which may
cause additional expense or loss shall not be the responsibility
of Arrangements Yukon, nor will Arrangements Yukon reimburse
for any additional expenses incurred by the passengers (hotels, meals,
etc.) Arrangements Yukon will not refund any unused portion
of the products purchased in the event of delays due to conditions
beyond our control. It is your responsibility to notify the supplier
directly of delayed or missed flights. The supplier telephone number
is noted on your itinerary for your convenience. Failure to
do so may result in cancellation of your reservation.
Rental Car Information
All drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age, in possession
of a valid drivers license and a major credit card. Additional
fees apply for extra drivers, personal accident insurance and
loss damage waiver. Rental agreements are for the exact number
of days shown on your car rental voucher and rates are based
on a 24 hour clock. Vehicles must be returned on or before the
pick-up time shown on the rental agreement or be subject to an
additional full days charge.
Special Requests
Requests for particular rooms, room location, bed types and/or
other services other than those listed in Arrangements Yukon product
information are never to be considered guaranteed and may be subject
to additional charges and must be requested at the time of booking.
Responsibility of Arrangements Yukon
Arrangements Yukon is a travel and vacation organizer only. We do not control or operate any airline, neither do we own or control any shipping company, hotel, transportation companies, or any other facility or service mentioned on this website. We take care in selecting the services included in your vacation but cannot be held responsible for any injury, death, loss or damage that is caused by the acts or omissions of these suppliers. Participation in the tour, any activity or excursion, or in any service suggested; is entirely at the passenger’s risk.
Arrangements Yukon and/or its suppliers cannot assume liability for any loss, damage or physical or emotional injury of any nature resulting from an Act of God or any other force majeure. Nor can we accept responsibility for losses or other expenses due to delay or changes in air schedules or other services, sickness, strike, terrorism, war, quarantine or other causes. All such losses will be the responsibility of the passenger. All baggage is carried at the owner’s risk. Airline companies are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passenger is not aboard their aircraft. The passenger’s contract is use by the airlines, when issued, shall be the sole contract between the carrier and passenger. This contract, regardless of where it is performed, shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Yukon Territory.
